I was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I attended the University of MN and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Russian, then decided to migrate to Tucson, Arizona, where I studied massage therapy and had my own practice massaging people for a number of years. Eventually, I decided to go back to school, received my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arizona, and then found myself in the Pacific Northwest at Washington State University where I received my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.
I am an avid reader, enjoy photography, hiking, and making wheel thrown pottery. I love the outdoors and exploring new places and thoroughly enjoy the beauty of the Oregon coast. I share my home with cats and birds but love any animal with fur, feathers or scales.
